Well, It did finally snow here. I had attempted to go skiing a few weekends ago. However, that put the biggest gouge into my skis that they have yet seen. Somehow the other two people managed to come out unscathed.

So then Wednesday that big snow storm hit. Coincidentally, that was the day that work sent me down to Charlotte to unsuccessfully debug some vehicles. I decided to ski up the block out onto the swamp and back before leaving for the airport. Of course the rest of the morning I had spent maddly installing stuff on the borrowed computer I had because my computer got upgraded so wasn’t compiling the old software anymore.

Charlotte was, of course, balmy.

Then saturday we skied over to a friend’s house by way of some snowmobile trails. And sunday we tried to follow another railroad grade that it turned out has been mostly paved over by rte 13.

Otherwise I have mostly beed unpacking from the move. I made it out rock climbing with some co-workers one weekday. That and work has been sucking. IMHO the project is in need of better management and code redesign. And instead we are having deadlines switched on us so that we have to hack the old code to make it work and I don’t even know when the documents I have been asked to prepare are due.
