Sewing

I have been working on a queen size quilt for the past two years. This past week, I got fed up and declared it done enough that I can work on other projects. So I started a shirt. Apparently quilt sewing doesn’t use the same skills as garment sewing. I am having to rediscover the dimensions I used to use for patterns. And I made a couple of simple calculation errors on what used to be easy stuff. On the sewing itself, I am not being as consistent as I would like, but it will probably come out ok. Luckily I chose a large piece of fabric to start with, so I have some wiggle room for making mistakes.
