I never quite know what to post about my week days. They aren’t nearly as interesting as weekends. Mostly I just try to catch up on sleep and disasters in the apartment. The disasters being of the laundry, dishes, or piles of gear sort. That or «oh my goodness it’s really late, what in the world are we going to do for dinner?»

Today we did manage to pick up some $50 telemark skis and bindings for my Dad. There was a little bit of confusion about where to meet the seller. Apparently, there are two different restaurants of the same name across the road from a hotel which can be gotten to by getting off the highway at exit 27 — different highway, though.

We’re trying to find my folks some good ski deals at the end of the season so that next year they can learn to telemark. The selection of used skis is a lot bigger here. And with any luck they’ll come ski with us next year since the snow is so much better up here than in VA…
