I wrote my senators for the first time ever yesterday. I keep meaning to for various things. Somehow this was the first time I was in a frame of mind to hunt down their contact and write a nice letter. The issue I wrote about was the cash for clunkers program. That program is not the most important issue I have an opinion on, or the issue on which I have the most well formed opinion. But maybe now that I succeeded at writing once, it will be easier to write next time when it really matters.
