We ended up with an extra long layover in Chicago O’Hare, so I called up . We got a tour of the neighborhood and our nth lunch for the day. Benoit has a really nice sunny condo. We enjoyed his front balcony for about an hour, and then walked over to the lake. Benoit said it was quite calm that day, so it must get some really big fun waves on it at times. The sky was clear enough that we got a good view of the industrial section of town.

And then we went back to the airport to get on our last flight of the day. It was overbooked, but we just wanted to go home, so we didn’t take any of their free flight offers.
