We skied the gulf of slides trail today. There wasn’t really a plan to ski the gulf itself. But when we got there, all sorts of trees were there that normally are covered by snow. It looked like it was missing the 4 feet of snow that the south got.
Mom and Dad made it down with reasonable aplomb for their first year of telemark skiing. My legs were still suffering from yesterday, so after a brief attempt at tele, I paralleled down the mountain. Tyson, on the other hand, was full of snappy telemark turns all the way down.
And to finish off the day we had a run in with a gear store.
