This past weekend’s kayaking trip was the first on-water day of the NSPN CAM training. So this meant discussing and practicing leadership and group coordination and rescues. Unfortunately while playing around our group got one person sea sick, so we had to do an actual rescue. No big deal, just that person was busy turning green while the rest of us paddled him to shore. And then we waited a bit for him to recover. From there we ended up splitting into a group that went more directly back and another group that played around in the rocks and the small amounts of waves. A couple rocks did manage to chip the gel coat on my boat, so it looks like I have a chore for this weekend.
