There’s been tons going on despite me not posting.
Last thursday was the last of the heat wave days, so the contractors took a break in the middle of the day and were still working when we got home. They were doing the last of the finishing work on the top of the house walls. And they had prep’ed the end gable.
Friday they put up the house trusses.
Monday they started putting the roof on.
Tuesday they put the rest of the trusses in for the garage and extended its roof to meet the house.
The cosmetic beams cut from our trees are now inside.
The beam for the support for the hoist is sitting in the garage rafters.
And electrical boxes in the garage.
