weekend was supposed to be spring skiing in Amonoosuc ravine, but it up and snowed 11″ of powder creating avalanche danger. So we skied the lower part of the cog since it’s well protected. The only unfortunate bit was that the new powder hid the railroad tracks in places and there was an epic wreckage scene where three of our group and one other guy went down on the rails. I got a bruise, but one of the other two was so tangled up in the tracks we were afraid we would have to stretcher him out. Luckily it wasn’t that bad, but he did keep going “ow” for the rest of the day.
