Tyson and his brother planned a surprise BBQ to happen at their Mom’s place. Unfortunately, Sunday morning, Tyson’s Mom decided that since no one appeared to be planning anything, she had better plan a party and cook food. The good and the bad was that she only managed to start cooking a cake before calling around to invite people at which point Tyson had to spill the beans on the surprise BBQ.

Tyson and I managed two types of potato salad, grilled chicken half with BBQ sauce and half with peach cayenne pepper glaze, grilled hot Italian sausages, and some of the tastiest grilled veggies I have made yet. The food contributed by other folks was equally good, and of course there we leftovers.
