We did not go kayaking this weekend, but we did fit in a rock climbing trip today. We wanted someplace close that would not be too much overhead. Crow Hill is the closest, but is also close to Boston. Pawtuckaway and Marlow are probably the next closest. We decided to go to Marlow because, though it is smaller, it has a lot fewer people and mosquitos than Pawtuckaway. It also might be slightly closer.

There were not any great exploits from the day. It was the first climbing trip for the year. Tyson, in particular, has been out of practice for a while because of his knee and tired out quickly. We set up one route and worked on variations all afternoon. After kayaking so much and just seeing barren rocky cost lines and northern pines, it was nice to enjoy a nice warm breezy afternoon in a deciduous forest.
