I led a beginner trip up the cog railway on Mt Washington this weekend. It had extra difficulties due to being a beginner trip and both lots of participants on my trip and lots of other people to not get mixed up with. But the powder was really nice.

The funny part, though, was when we got back down. Tyson was in charge of Isaac for the day, so the two of them went for a cross country ski to the base of Amonoosuc ravine and Monroe brook to scout for next weekend. We all met back up at the bottom. There was one guy, P, on my trip who chatted with Tyson and thought it was really cool he just took the baby with him, but he was sure he had Tyson beat because he had met some other guy out skiing with his 4 week old baby.

Something clicked about P’s face, and in short order we determined that it was in fact Tyson and Isaac whom he had met two months prior in a lift line at Bretton Woods. Then P was really excited to see that Tyson and Isaac were still out skiing and both enjoying it.
