We met up with Benoit and Leah at Rumney for climbing. None of us got going that early, nor were we in shape for lots of climbing, so it ended up being a social trip with a little bit of climbing. Saturday was forecast to be full of thunderstorms, so we gave up on it in advance. It turned out to be a nice day and we had the crag practically to ourselves. Tyson finished the day off with a lead in the pouring rain while the rest of us cowered under overhangs. Sunday we stuck to easier climbs so Leah could practice leading. I actually led one to set the gear in advance for her. In further evidence of our moral decay, Tyson and I bought a car camping tent, so we enjoyed Saturday evening in our palatial abode while Benoit and Leah had the usual fun of a backpacking tent. It did take us a good while longer to pack up, though.
