I was not going to make applesauce this year because I did not have time. September went by, October went by. Come November, I was down to my last few jars of applesauce, and I just could not take it. Surviving a whole year on store bought applesauce was too unpalatable. And Isaac has started eating applesauce too, so those last few jars were going to disappear even faster.
That’s how I found myself falling asleep while cranking my food mill late into the night this weekend. The good news is I have 16 new quarts of tasty tasty applesauce.
