We signed up for an AMC family paddle on lake MacDowell. We have taken possession of an old family aluminum canoe so we brought that. Isaac was not terribly fond of either the canoe or the PFD, but he did have fun playing in the water at lunch. Tyson and I swapped off who was paddling. I mostly managed to keep the canoe going straight. The one downside was that no other families showed up — just the two leaders plus us.
