On the way to Vermont the previous day, we checked out the snow conditions in Stoddard NH. They weren’t any better than Vermont, but the road out to the blueberry fields on Hubbard hill is well maintained and skiable without much snow.
There’s nothing outstanding about the trip. It’s an easy ski and not too far from home, so it was a good low stress recovery. Since we had Isaac and the pulk, we brought along our big emergency shelter and ate lunch in comfort. After lunch we put Isaac on his skis, and he actually tried going off and skiing on his own. We all played around for a while. Then Isaac rode back sitting on the front of the pulk.
