It snowed for the first time this season — nice snow, and on a weekend even. Saturday morning I finished the last yard work just as the world turned white.
Sunday morning we woke to ~5 inches of snow. Not enough to ski out the back door like Isaac wanted, but enough for the Windblown touring center to open. We spent a wonderful day skiing around their trails. By afternoon, the snow had compacted down, but the cumulus clouds had kept it cold enough to not melt.
There’s more snow forecast for midweek. Ski season has arrived.
