A Family Adventure

Tyson, Emilie & Isaac

While I focus this blog on reporting the past weekend’s trip, I have some time every month to write other articles or make improvements to the website. What would you like to see? Let me know in the comments.

  • Have you reviewed the tasks that go into each post? What takes too much time or is too error prone? The goal would be to ensure that the blog continues to be sustainable.

    • Processing photos takes one evening. I like to filter down to the best so people click through them, rather than showing all 90 odd snaps. Writing the posts used to take one commute ride in and back. But now that I don’t commute it takes a long evening. If I give myself a time limit, I can sometimes get it done faster.

      • Once you have picked the photos, how many processing steps are needed to transform the photos to the smaller size, and are these steps done in a bulk process?

        • The smaller size and copyright watermark are done in bulk and automated.

For skiing photos, I often have to fix the exposure.
