After a week of sunshine, the weather this weekend was cold and rainy.
Saturday, we went for a bike ride as planned, but instead of cycling to ice cream, we bicycled to the local cafe for hot chocolate. We even timed it right. The rain fell while we were in the cafe. We only bicycled through mist.
Sunday, was my day as volunteer coordinator at the gliding club. The tow pilots and instructor all wanted to check the weather at the airport, hoping to make the day work. When we arrived, and when we left, the summit of Mt Wachusetts was in the clouds. In between we found an hour where the clouds lifted. It was just enough for Tyson to fly his first two simulated rope breaks and a pattern tow. Nobody else showed up for the day. We put everything away before it started raining.
