Before the family event in Jaffrey, Tyson, Isaac, and I went for a mother’s day hike. Despite three inches of rain over the past three days, and more before that, most of the trails weren’t streams. I had fun photographing all the signs of spring. Tyson introduced Isaac and I to the Smith Trail, one of the lost Monadnock Trails he has been exploring. The very top part was a little hard to follow. Isaac shared exactly one M&M with each of us at the summit. And then it was time to head back down.
