All seasons, the hike up to the summit is a good easy hike. It is 0.4 miles from the parking lot to the summit. The top has rewarding views across southern NH and into Vermont. The fire tower is open for visitors when it is manned. Late summer, you can up to Hubbard hill to pick blueberries for a fee. All the money goes towards maintaining the conservation land. And in the winter, those same dirt roads make great cross country ski trails. The Pitcher Mountain ridge reliably gets more snow than the rest of Southern NH.

Skiing Hubbard Hill

The route follows a gated road woods road to the blueberry fields on Hubbard Hill. The road rates as a blue ski trail. Follow it straight at the one intersection. The road ends in wide open blueberry fields on Hubbard Hill. You can follow the major path through the blueberries to the west of the hill for a view into Vermont.
